Seller payment and commission terms

In short: buyers pay Bonnyconnect, we keep a small commission, the rest goes to your wallet, and you withdraw to your bank account.

1. What this covers

These terms explain how money moves when someone pays you through Bonnyconnect (card, bank or USSD) for your store orders, delivery jobs, event tickets or business orders. They apply once you switch on online payments or sell paid tickets.

2. How you get paid

The buyer pays Bonnyconnect through Paystack, our payment partner.
We take our commission (see section 3) and credit the rest to your Bonnyconnect wallet.
Each credit is held for 2 day(s) so problems can be sorted out, then it becomes available.
You request a payout whenever your available balance reaches ₦1,000. We send it to the bank account you saved.

3. Commission

Our commission is set by Bonnyconnect and can change. The rates in force today are:

Stores: 5%
Logistics: 5%
Event tickets: 10%
Businesses: 5%

The commission is added on top of your price as a small service fee that the buyer pays. You receive 100% of the price you set. Example: you list an item at ₦10,000 and the rate is 5%; the buyer pays ₦10,500 and ₦10,000 goes to your wallet.

Paystack charges Bonnyconnect its own processing fee on every online payment. We cover that fee out of our commission. You never see it deducted from your wallet.

4. Payments made outside Bonnyconnect

You can still accept WhatsApp or direct bank transfers. Those payments go straight to you, we charge no commission on them, and they do not pass through your wallet.

5. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

If a buyer is refunded or a payment is reversed, the matching amount is taken back from your wallet. If your balance is too low, it is deducted from your next sales. Only take payment for goods or services you will deliver.

6. Payouts

Payouts go to the bank account saved in your wallet, in your name or your registered business name. Bank transfer fees, if any, are covered by Bonnyconnect. Incorrect account details can delay a payout, so check them carefully.

7. Changes to these terms

If our commission or these terms change, we publish a new version and ask you to accept it again before your next online payment. Sales already made keep the terms they were made under.
