Every street has one. A caterer whose jollof people plan weddings around. A tailor with a queue in December. A man who repairs anything. They survive by word of mouth, which is a beautiful thing right up to the edge of the next estate.
Running a business here carries real costs: fuel, logistics, patchy power, thin capital. Hustle gets people through. But hustle does not scale if customers cannot find you.
The fix is not complicated. A decent photo, a clear phone number, an honest line about what you do and where. Make it easy to say yes to you.
If you run something, put it where people look. If you love a place, tell people about it. That is how a good shop becomes an institution.
